South Berkeley Fire District is currently accepting applications for for all stations. Have you got the drive and desire to serve your community?

We are a combination department with paid and volunteer personnel. Rank and response duties are independant of pay. 

Stations 1, 2, and 3 are staffed with career members 24 hours a day but there are always seat  available for voluteer members who want to be part of the initial response. Our lower volume stations are staffed certain hours, but we also rely heavily on our volunteers to respond when we are dispatched.   

Benefits include uniforms, SC VIP Tax Credit, and participation in our Length of Service Award Program.  South Berkeley Fire District provides gear and training. You only need  to bring a desire to serve and a willingness to put in the work.
