Chief Myers began his fire service career with Pine Ridge Fire Department in 2011 and has steadily progressed through the ranks due to his dedication to the service, his department, and its members. Matt is a South Carolina Fire Academy certified Instructor and certified in Haz-Mat and Technical Rescue.

Matt is a life long resident of Berkeley County and graduate of Stratford High School.  He is married to Kayla Myers and the doting father of the two beautiful daughters.
